Fun fact: I LOVE brunch.
So when The Diplomat Beach Resort invited me and a few other bloggers to brunch at their newly opened restaurant, Point Royal, I jumped at the chance!
I was enamored the second that I stepped into the lobby. They recently renovated and the décor is simply stunning. The beachy yet sophisticated aesthetic made this place total home décor #goals.
While the ocean views, 2 gorgeous pools, and luxurious spa are all amazing— it’s the diverse dining options that really make this place shine.
Food & Drink Options at The Diplomat Beach Resort
Point Royal-
This restaurant, by famous chef Geoffrey Zakarian, is a delicious buffet by morning and delectable seafood restaurant, with the properties only raw bar, by night.
I was lucky enough to sample my way through the amazing array of food on offer during breakfast/brunch. Trust me, this is not like any self-serve hotel buffet you’ve been to before.
Some of the highlights were the biscuits with fried chicken & gravy, fresh made-to-order omelets, iced donuts and a delicious avocado & tomato salad.
I’ve heard that the dinner menu is even better! I can’t wait to come back and check it out.

Bristol Burgers-
I haven’t tried it myself but I know this place makes an amazing burger! How do I know? The restaurant finished in 2nd place in the “People’s Choice” category at Burger Bash during 2017 South Beach Food & Wine event.
I’m dying to head back (when I’m not stuffed from brunch) and try one myself! And I hear they make a mean milkshake.

Heard whispers that this restaurant might be getting a Mexican food makeover—so stay tuned!
Diplomat Prime-
The décor of this restaurant stole my heart before I even got to glance at the menu! This boutique steakhouse, with its tall windows and gorgeous place settings, offers fresh seafood and prime beef along with a robust wine and bar list.

I was invited by the team at Port Royal and the Diplomat Beach Resort to enjoy a blogger brunch. As always, I only review hotels, restaurants & products that I truly enjoy and all opinions are my own.
Looks like Diplomat Beach Resort is a mecca for food and drinks lovers! I think among all the restaurants you’ve mentioned, Diplomat Prime is the one that I’d go for first. I LOVE steak and the restaurant looks gorgeous! Do they serve alcoholic drinks during the brunch as well?

Wow that looks like a good destination for foodies. The food looks simply delicious on your pics. And the interior design is so classy
Hey, how fortunate for you that you were invited, that’s amazing. I wasn’t aware such a beautiful place existed in that part of Florida. I go almost every year but I guess when you have family, you live as a resident and not so much as a tourist. I love brunch too, who doesn’t.
So often I have found that restaurants generally do not get the same level of attention or recognition when they are within a hotel complex – as the accommodation usually takes center stage in the property’s marketing. In this case, it is clear to see that the brunch and the restaurant itself is extremely worthy of it’s own kudos for the quality and selection that they offer. I can definitely see from this review (not to mention the lovely photos) that you have really enjoyed this fabulous find, and who wouldn’t! As a visitor, it’s so nice to find a property where you can enjoy great food without having to explore the whole region to find something as decent as this.
Yes! While SoFlo has amazing food options it’s always nice to have the option of not leaving the hotel property. The ultimate relaxation!
All the restaurants you mentioned here at Diplomat Beach Resort look good with delicious food. As a burger lover, the Bristol Burger bar would be where I went first, any burger in the US which gets close to winning an award must be incredible. I like the look of the bar in there too!

It seems that this hotel has a option for everyone’s dining needs! I am definitely a lover of brunch as well. It’s my favourite part of the weekend when I get to enjoy brunch at home or go out and take in the atmosphere. Great menu options as well. A place to keep on your radar if heading to South Florida.
Wow thats a lot of delicious looking places to eat and drink. I love having so many options and its always great to try them all out. I love the idea with the cocktails from different places as well! 🙂
Right?! Who doesn’t love getting their passport stamped? Especially if it comes with a tasty cocktail. 🙂
